Governance
The governance structure of ESF was substantially changed after the ESF Ordinance (Amendment) Bill was passed by the Legislative Council. A 26-member Board of Governors has now been introduced to replace the previous structure of an Executive Committee and a 130-member Foundation.
The Board of Governors includes independent members, directly elected parent members and representatives from standing committees. The membership of the Board is as follows:

There are also standing committees for Remuneration, Audit and Finance. Each of our schools has a Council which comprises a Chairman and representatives of parents, teachers, support staff and the wider community, as well as the Chief Executive’s representative.
